The Artachment is a support oriented exhibition space in Basel for young educated artists.
ARTACHMENT
The Artachment was initiated by Raphael Bottazzini. The exhibition space is a small 8m2 former customs house at the Dreiländereck (border triangle), in which the shipping goods duties were paid for the train transfer. The small house which is located in the port of the Rhine partly rises across the river and shows itself as an autonomous exhibition house. Because of Bottazzinis initiative the Artachment became an experimental showroom for young, dedicated and talented authors. The curatorial position changes yearly to maintain the support and the thought of networking merely.
TITAN
Barbara Schuler, Gianna Molinari and Eva Seck form the Titan, which build a platform for poetry, word of arts, prose, lyrics and more. Due to connections with the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel, the authors present texts from dedicated and talented writers in a weekly rhythm. The texts are uploaded and can be read on the following websites

ARTACHMENT IN RESIDENCE
Individually produced Web-Blogs by Artachment will show activities and impressions of the artists inside and outside of the ateliers as well as the singularity and mechanism which can lead to art.
